I think it’s a very fine work of fiction, with the added appeal of social issues we need to be thinking about. I love the protagonist and her fierce best friend I struggled with the difficult subject matter. Often painful and uncomfortable, but often delightful and hilarious. I picked this book up blind, not knowing what was inside, and it was a roller coaster.
